Other Uses

Colloidal Silver

In the former Soviet Union, silver is used to sterilize recycled water aboard space shuttles. NASA has also selected a silver/water system for its space shuttle, after testing 23 methods of purifying water. To guard against water borne diseases such as dysentery, many airlines internationally, use silver water filters to guarantee passenger safety.

The Swiss government has now approved use of such silver water filters in homes and offices. In the U.S., some city municipalities use silver in the treatment of sewage.

Dr. Bob Beck, (not to be confused with Dr. Becker) reports that Colloidal Silver is able to be sprayed on plants to kill fungus and a disinfectant for home cleaning.

It is also reported to kill mosquito larvae.

Some people have sprayed Colloidal Silver on fruits and vegetables (such as avocadoes) to prevent them from turning brown!

Others have been known to use Colloidal Silver when watering plants, as this important mineral has been leached from most soils. Thus the uses for Colloidal Silver vary greatly.

But it is the very overuse of these antibiotics which has caused bugs to mutate into “super bugs” which replace original strains, thus rendering the original antibiotic ineffective.

The Association for Colloid Research stated in “Colloidal Silver” that “Medical Journal Reports and documented studies spanning 100 years indicate …”There has never been a reported reaction with Colloidal Silver and any prescription medication.”

TGA Ruling on Colloidal Silver

Recently an amendment was passed to the Therapeutic Goods (Excluded goods) Order, concerning products that contain Colloidal Silver. This amendment means that no longer are manufacturers allowed to make any therapeutic claims on the benefits of Colloidal Silver.

All this is happening at the same time that we are told that disease causing bacteria are developing immunity to modern day drugs. This immunity seems to be spreading to even isolate areas. Colloidal Silver being unable to be patented doesn’t have huge profits for pharmaceutical companies, so unfortunately appears not worthwhile for them to promote.
